For San Jose, this is probably the best value hotel you can find that is clean, well

kept, comfortable, reasonable, and nicely done up. The rooms are simple pleasures and

everything feels just that slight bit of luxury, not overly opulent and almost “just

right.”

For some reason, the towels are ESPECIALLY fluffy. Usually you come to hotels of this

sort and it’s a little on the older side so the towels have been well washed, and

despite the fact that they’re new, the “fuzzy” is kind of gone … not here!

I definitely agree that it feels homely and sometimes that’s just the kind of escape

you need when your home doesn’t feel so homely.

Seriously the staff and professionals at this hotel ARE AMAZING! They are all SUPER

DUPER NICE, professional, and overall just pleasant.

The price may not be the most affordable, but I personally thought it was worth. PLUS!

If you plan on drinking, $200 some odd dollars is cheaper than a DUI and an insurance

premium hike!

The rooms are modern and have a luxurious homey vibe to them. They put us in and

AWESOME AWESOME room on the 6th floor with a balcony. The view was great and we

enjoyed every moment of seeing the row from above.

And though I’m a local, I’d say I’ll be back!

I have a penchant for historical hotels’ grandeur and charm and the Sainte Claire has

it in spades. The stunning foyer and glass-lined hallway with gorgeous chandeliers

evokes yesteryear elegance. My bed was heavenly and the hotel’s location is very

convenient for doing business in and around downtown San Jose.
